The classic no-bake Italian dessert with layers of coffee-soaked ladyfingers and mascarpone cream, dusted with cocoa powder.
Ingredients
- 6 whole egg yolks
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1.25 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1.5 cup heavy cream
- 2 cup espresso
- 24 whole ladyfingers
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

Whisk egg yolks and sugar over a double boiler until thick and pale, about 5 minutes.

Remove from heat and beat in mascarpone until smooth.

Whip heavy cream to stiff peaks and fold gently into mascarpone mixture.

Dip ladyfingers briefly in cooled espresso and arrange in a single layer in dish.
